These terms govern your use of YardPaint, made by Laratta Labs LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the app, you agree to them.

What YardPaint does

YardPaint turns a photo of your yard into an AI-generated preview and suggests plants for your climate. It's a planning and inspiration tool.

Your account

You sign in with Apple and are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your device and Apple ID secure.

Acceptable use

Upload photos of your own yard or outdoor space, that you have the right to use. YardPaint is not for photos of people — photos containing people are blocked.
Never upload unlawful, harmful, sexual, or exploitative content. This expressly includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and non-consensual intimate imagery. We use automated moderation and may block or remove content and suspend accounts that violate this. Apparent CSAM is preserved and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
Don't abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or try to circumvent limits of the service.

To report illegal or abusive content, email [email protected] with [SAFETY] in the subject. To report CSAM directly, use the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us a limited license to process and store them solely to provide the service — generating your previews and saving your projects. You're free to use the previews you create for your own planning.

AI output — please read

Previews are generated by AI and are illustrative only. They are not a guarantee of how your yard will look, and they are not professional landscaping, horticultural, or engineering advice. Plant suggestions are a starting point based on your climate zone — confirm suitability, spacing, and availability with a local nursery before you buy or plant.

Subscriptions & billing

YardPaint includes three free previews. After that, an optional subscription ($7.99/month or $59.99/year) unlocks unlimited previews and removes the watermark. Subscriptions are sold through Apple and billed to your Apple account. They renew automatically until cancelled; cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies. See Pricing.

Intellectual property

The YardPaint app, name, and design are owned by Laratta Labs LLC. These terms don't grant you rights to our trademarks or software beyond using the app as intended.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Laratta Labs LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on a preview or plant suggestion.

Termination

You can stop using YardPaint and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and note significant changes in the app.
